The U.S. Air Force turned 70 this year. Although the role of air planes in our Air Force (air supremacy) has not changed, the airplane itself has evolved. Dan Strayer, 20 years as a docent at the National Museum of the United States Air Force, and retired Lt./Col. USAF, will present an overview of WWII – planes to drones, through stories and pictures as he discusses the many uses of how air power helps to protect the USA. The menu is chicken pot pie, apple salad, and pumpkin desert. All members and friends 55 and up are invited. Lunch is $7.00, however, you can pack your lunch if you choose.
