Wednesday, January 18 - Community Meal at 6 p.m. in the CFC. To help, sign up in the Narthex. Bring a friend and join us for dinner! The meal is open to everyone and free to everyone. Anyone wishing to make a contribution to the meal may write a check to Southminster, with the notation Community Meal. Questions? Talk with Pastor Megan or with Gretchen Cleaves, meal coordinator (885.2921).

Wednesday, January 18 - Are you interested in membership at Southminster? Pastor Eric will be leading Discovering Church Membership from 6:30-8 p.m. (Immediately following the Community Meal). If you would like to learn more about the Presbyterian Church (USA), this congregation, and the meaning of church membership, this class is for you! Attending the class does not obligate you to join Southminster Presbyterian Church, but it is necessary for membership. Current members who would like to learn more about the meaning of our faith and church membership are always welcome. This class will be held in the Adult Lounge (Room 205). If you are interested in attending, please call the church office (433-1810), or email Pastor Eric (eric@sminster.com) by January 16.

Friday, January 20 - Date Night for couples is Friday the 20th. Join us at 6:30 as we talk about the Seasons of Marriage, then go out with your spouse from 7-9. Free children's programs are provided. Contact Pastor Megan for information.

Sunday, January 22 - Invitation Sunday: Medical Professionals. Invite your doctor, nurse, or technician to come be thanked for their healing work in the community!

Sunday, January 29 - Holy Communion Training will be held for children and their parents following the 11 a.m. service. Please sign up by contacting Pastor Jackie.

Sunday, January 29 - Winter Spring Growth Groups, Church-wide Study - The Lord's Prayer for Today: Join us for this twelve-week study of the Lord's Prayer. Groups begin the week of Sunday, January 29 (no classes from April 1 - April 8). Child care is provided for Sunday groups and is available upon request for other meeting times. Sign up using the Connection Card, on the web (click here) or in the lobby. See the bulletin insert for group opportunities. Participants' books are $5 each. Leave payment (with your name attached) in the office attention of the Growth Groups ministry.
