Youth Ministry

All 4th-12th graders are invited to participate in our youth ministry activities. We have multiple opportunities for youth to plug-in and engage with other Christian youth in a growing faith community.

 

Gardening with Kim/ Music with Ruth
Time: Following Children’s Time
Location: Gardens at the rear of building/ Choir Room

This mid-worship opportunity for if for children and youth ages 4-12. Ruth Mappes and Kim Catchpole will alternate leading “Music with Ruth” and “Gardening with Kim.” Older youth who are interested in assisting with these programs should talk to Kim or Ruth. Parents should consider dressing their child in appropriate clothing on gardening days.

Tween Mission Week
Grades 4-8
Youth from Southminster and Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church will work together to make a difference in our community. Mission projects include working with the Dayton Food Bank, the Dayton Peace Museum, Kirkmont Camp, One Bistro and more. Contact Kim@sminster.com to sign up.
