The Bible teaches that followers of Christ experience spiritual growth in the context of community. God did not make us to learn in isolation; we need each other if we are to become spiritually mature. In Growth Groups we are able to take the next step in growing deeper relationships with God and others. Join a Growth Group so that you can discover for yourself what it means to be Learning in Community. Sign up in the Narthex, or on a Connection Card.

The past is never dead. It’s not even past. –William Faulkner
On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses on the door of All Saints’ Church in Wittenberg Germany—and forever changed the world. This 8-week class will explore the Biblical and theological foundations and history of the Protestant Reformation: What happened? Why? What were the dividing issues? How does it still matter to us (five hundred years later) as 21st century Christians? The study will include an examination of John Calvin and the reformed tradition. Led by Steve Davis.
Nurturing Children and Youth in Faith
Sundays, October 8 & 15,
Location: Adult Lounge
Children and youth learn faith in 4 main ways, through what is called ESFI: Enculturation/Socialization/Formation/Instruction. Instruction encompasses the smallest of the ways in which families and congregations nurture children and youth in their faith. Come explore and discuss ways active lives of faith can be nurtured. You may find your own faith deepened! This 2-session class will be led by Pastor Jackie Nowak.
